Program Background

The Brand Captain leadership program is designed to give athletes opportunities to demonstrate our principles and core values within their teams and the organization. A”Brand Captain” is an athlete that is a leader on and off the mat. He/she will demonstrate the team's principles and core values while remaining a leader on their team. Brand Captains will be the representative for the team for a full competition season. Brand Captain will be given opportunities throughout the season to demonstrate their leadership skills as well as improve on other emerging skills.

Application Process

Each season, the application process will open during the summer preseason to all athletes seeking the Brand Captain position. Athletes looking to be a Brand Captain will have to submit an application that will include an answer in why they would like to be a Brand Captain and references. All applications will be reviewed by the Administration team and select coaches. Brand Captains will be chosen and announced by way of email.

Application Requirements

• Be a member of Elite Vibe Athletics in good standing
• Have a recommendation from an EV Athletics coach or staff member
• Submit most recent report card
• Complete a Brand Captain Application
• Promote EV Athletics Principles: Athleticism, Academics and Mental Wellness
• Demonstrate EV Athletics Core Values: Respect, Trust, Team Work, Positive Attitude and Dedication
